Axon Releases GenePix® Professional 4200A Scanner

Axon Instruments, Inc. has announced the release of its four-color GenePix® Professional 4200A scanner for genomics and proteomics microarray research. The GenePix Professional 4200A is the top-of-the-line addition to the GenePix series of microarray scanners from Axon Instruments and is available with up to four internal lasers and sixteen emission filters. The scanner features adjustable focusing and laser-power control and includes custom-designed performance-verification slides, to check compliance with factory benchmark specifications over the lifetime of the instrument. All GenePix scanner models are shipped with GenePix Pro acquisition and analysis software.
