Chengjun Jin earned his PhD in 2017 from the Institute of Nutritional Sciences at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, focusing on fatty liver disease. He subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the department of gastroenterology and hepatology, University Hospital Düsseldorf.
